John Rosser
John leads the Executive for 2050 Advisors. With more than 15 years experience within the space, John has been an investor + has provided sophisticated financial/operational leadership on dozens of global projects within the impact & sustainability space.
Through his world-class proprietary global conference series SUSTAINATOPIA (including now ACCELERATE 2050), John has become one of the world's top thought leaders & connectors within the communities of Impact Investing, ESG and Climate Investing (including carbon markets and biodiversity markets) during the last 2 decades.
Previous to this John was Chief Executive for a Sports, Media & Entertainment Division for a major Florida investment bank, and has participated in more than 20 acquisition deals in his entire career.
As a paid Keynote speaker for the world's 9th largest speakers bureau (called Thinking Heads), John continues to operate on the leading edge of research and international investment trends relative to Climate, Impact & ESG Investing. John has keynoted at major conferences on 4 different continents.
During the last 3 years, John has invested significant time while working in Sao Paulo, Brazil- building upon his large existing base of Brazilian relationships and intricate knowledge of Brazilian Climate, ESG and Impact issues. John has fluency or semi-fluency in 5 languages. Recently, John was asked to submit a proposal to host CLIMATE WEEK Brazil by the UN Global Compact representative office in Sao Paulo. John has also done extensive work + active research in Brazil regarding clean water scarcity, biochar, export and agriculture products, energy, waste materials, and recycling.

Gabriel Nunes
Intradisciplinary professional leading multilateral projects in the Amazon and internationally. Leads the Technical Operations for 2050 ADVISORS.
(Winner) X Prize Rainforest Challenge- Innovation as part of global team led by ETH Zurich. Gabriel is the sole permanent in-situ Brazilian member.

David J.M. Swallow
David Swallow is an experienced consultant specializing in forest carbon projects and impact investment, with over twelve years of professional experience in Brazil. His career has been marked by significant roles in various organizations, where he has demonstrated expertise in REDD+ project development, carbon markets, and sustainable resource management. Most recently, he served as the REDD Coordinator at Carbonext, where he led a team in the development of leading forest carbon projects, successfully navigating the complexities of project design and validation under VCS and CCB standards. His work included managing the Unitor and Evergreen projects, as well as overseeing the completion of the Ipoá REDD+ project’s validation process.
Swallow's career trajectory reflects a strong academic background complemented by practical experience across multiple facets of environmental consulting. He has worked with notable organizations such as IMAFLORA and Partnerships for Forests, where he managed portfolios related to forests and landscapes. His earlier roles involved significant contributions to international projects for the World Bank and Althelia Climate Fund, focusing on REDD+ initiatives in various countries. With a Master's degree in Ecology from Imperial College London and fluency in several languages including Portuguese and French, Swallow combines technical knowledge with cross-cultural communication skills, making him a valuable asset in the field of environmental sustainability and carbon finance.

Dr. Miles K. Light
Dr. Light is research faculty at the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, and is an international economics consultant. He has a Ph.D. in economics specializing in the field of Computable General Equilibrium modeling.
Dr. Light is focused on economic planning and impact models designed for national policymaking. His research dissertation calculated carbon leakage and compensation for different CO2 abatement strategies.
He developed the first computer (CGE) model for Mongolia, which was used to help design changes to Mongolia’s tax system. Other projects include: international trade assessment for the UAE, the Impact of the Doha Trade Rounds for Egypt; National Accounts overhaul for Kyrgyzstan; Tax Reform policy in Uzbekistan; a Colombia-USA Bilateral Free Trade agreement; modeling climate policy and oil demand for Saudi Aramco; and considering new fisheries’ policies for America’s costal settlements.
Dr. Light’s clients typically include multinational donors, such as the World Bank, UNDP, IADB, USAID, or national agencies such as US Homeland Security, US Army, the Panama Canal Authority, Ministry of Finance for Jamaica, Barbados, Armenia, UAE, and Colombia.
Local initiatives in Colorado include assessments of renewable energy targets (30% by 2020), public transportation assessments, and regulation/management of newly-legalized cannabis markets in Colorado, Nevada, and California.
Dr. Light has a Bachelors’ Degree in Economics from the University of Oregon, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
